According to the British press, the pilot and passenger miraculously survived




A small plane crashed onto a busy road late on Tuesday afternoon, 27th, in Gloucestershire, England. The impact of the crash broke off a wing of the plane and left debris on the road. The pilot and passenger escaped with minor injuries and were taken to a medical unit.

According to information from the British newspaper “The Telegraph”The crash occurred near Aston Down Airfield in Frampton Mansell, between Cirencester and Stroud, at around 4.45pm. Footage released by the vehicle shows the victims in shock inside the cabin of the plane. After the crash, drivers got out of their cars and helped the pair off the plane.

A witness described the plane “stopping and hitting the main road head-on.” Emergency services were called and the road was closed until the rescue effort was completed and the plane was removed.

The plane belonged to a flying club called the “Cotswold Gliding Club”, of which both are members and which is very well known in the country. The local air accident investigation division is investigating the accident.
