Who killed Alban?
After finding Albany’s lifeless body at the bottom of the stairs, Alex is interrogated by Sara at the police station. He says that he immediately called the police. He’s convinced it’s a murder and not an accident, given all the events of the past few days.
At the Ferays, Mia and Octave are in shock. Mikael tries to comfort them by reminding them that their mother loved them more than anything, despite the crisis they were going through. Chloe arrives to join them. Octave expresses regret at leaving Paris. He thinks his mother would still be alive if he hadn’t taken his uncle’s hotel.
Chloe then goes to the hospital to deliver things for Celeste to Marianne. The latter fears that his daughter and son-in-law are in danger at the Hotel Feray. But Chloe doesn’t want to leave her cousin alone in this ordeal. At the same time, Samuel goes out for fresh air, spending the night in the emergency room as a backup. Chloe tells him a terrible story…
At the police station, Sarah informs Auror that Valerie Brunn died in Germany in 2012. He was in 12th grade while Chloe was in 10th grade, which probably means that Kenny didn’t go to high school with them. Aurora instructs Nordin to check the almanacs. Damien, in turn, delivers the medical examiner’s report. This much is clear: Albany fell backwards down the stairs between 10:30 and 11:00 p.m., which coincides with the last text message he sent to Samuel at 10:18 p.m. In this message, Alban arranged a meeting at the hotel after leaving her husband.
A little later, Samuel goes to the police station, where Aurora offers her condolences. He is convinced that Michael killed Alban out of jealousy. As he leaves, Georges finds his colleague, who informs him that Mathias, the receptionist, seemed quite close and protective of Albani considering the messages he sent her.
That’s why Aurora summons Matias for questioning. The latter was off the previous day and at around 22:48 he has a receipt for the purchase of cigarettes that proves his alibi. As for the messages, Mathias says he didn’t like how Mikael treated his boss, yelled at him or put pressure on him. She describes him as jealous, possessive, prone to outbursts. While leaving the police station, Mathias runs into Mikael and clearly accuses him of killing Albani.
Meanwhile, Octavio and Mia find Diego and Maude at the spoon. Diego admits that he is an orphan and that the Delcurs took him. So he empathizes with what Octavius and Mia are going through and assures them that they will get over it in time. Modi adds that they will always be there to help them.
In turn, Aurora questions Michael, who tells her that Alban came to see her at the reception the day before to tell her that he was leaving her. He took it badly, but he waited and let it go. Aurora then recounts successive testimonies of the verbal abuse and harassment he inflicted on his wife. Michael suspects that he described Mathias as such, convinced that he is the real killer of Albany. He has an alibi though. Michael told her that he was tidying up the terrace alone. Since no one can confirm it at the moment, Aurora decides to arrest him in the police…
Gabriel rushes to the hospital
At the spoon, Bart exchanges orders with Nordin and Gabrielle, who are both at the counter. An opportunity for the two men to vent their previous tensions. Back at the police station, Nordin laughs at the situation with Manon, while Gabriel complains to Soraya, who he finds in the office. The latter notes that he does not consider her sexy while crying and offers to move.
At lunch, the couple goes to the spoon. Suddenly, Gabriel has severe pains in his ribs. He tries to take it but Soraya notices him. Gabriel wanted to stop growling in front of her, but he suspected she was having a bout of renal colic, something she had already had when she was 16.
Soraya takes him straight to the hospital, where Noor gives him strong painkillers to ease the pain. He considers it especially brave and worthy, because attacks of renal colic are among the worst pains a person can experience.
