Bruce Springsteen biopic starring Jeremy Allen White to feature production of Nebraska (1982), the singer’s sixth studio album
Actor known for acting in productions such as The Bear, Shameless and Iron Claw (2023), Jeremy Allen White has a next big project in his career: acting Bruce Springsteen in the biopic of the music icon. Now, the artist has revealed the intense preparation for the role.
It is worth remembering how the production got its name Deliver Me From Nowhere (still without a defined title in Portuguese), whose plot should focus on the production of the classic album Nebraska (1982), sixth studio album in his career Springsteen.
In an interview with GQ, White explained how he is preparing to play the legendary singer, responsible for hits such as “Dancing In the Dark,” “I’m On Fire,” “Streets of Philadelphia,” “Born to Run” and “Born in the USA“
“I’m very fortunate that there’s a kind of team that’s set up to help young actors play rock stars,” the actor said. “I have a group of very talented people helping me train vocally, musically, to prepare me for that.”
Right away, Jeremy Allen White noticed how “there is so much footage” of Bruce Springsteen available on the internet. “It’s really great to go down the rabbit hole of YouTube and meeting him in all these different periods of his life and being able to hear his speaking voice as well as his singing voice,” he said.
That’s been the thing, just listening to him a lot and watching him a lot. It’s been a lot of fun to prepare.
