Sasha joins the low-waist dress trend: R$699.90

The trend promises to explode in the summer, or on the hottest days, and it is already being seen here too. Sasha was one of those who had already joined the new trend. It is a dress with a low waist, which helps to elongate the silhouette and gives more movement to the look.

The owner of Mondepars wore a piece from the Morena Rosa brand. It is a dress that combines a tank top, made of 93% cotton and 7% elastane, with a skirt made of cotton (59%) and polyamide (41%), which has a lining and features a gathered midi length design. The piece costs R$699.90 on the brand’s website.

“I miss sunny days in SP,” Sasha wrote in the caption of the reel where she shows the dress worn with a dark bag, black loafers and sunglasses with the model of the moment: rectangular and small.

The low waist came into fashion in the 1920s and made a comeback in the 1990s. Known as a low-waisted dress (literally: low-waisted dress), the style can be seen in various finishes and lengths, such as short, long, and midi like the one worn by Sasha.

#ficaadica1: It can also be worn strapless, with the back adjusted like a corset, but in general the skirt is always wider, gathered or flared.

#ficaadica2: Being a neutral item, it goes well with flat shoes, like Sasha’s loafer, with high sandals, like the one used in the promotional photo on the Morena Rosa website (above), and also with sneakers, preferably the more basic ones, with soles.

#ficaadica3: Since the back is longer, generally reaching the beginning of the hips, the shape is a great ally for elongating the silhouette, especially for people who have the shortest part above the hips.

#ficaadica4: The model is a wild card, as it can be used on both formal and informal occasions, depending on the accessories chosen.
