It’s over for spy school! Directed by Elsa Bennett, this TV movie just aired on France 3, and its open ending is sure to leave you wanting more.
We hear you, because it’s hard not to want to find out what happens with so many last-minute twists. And if it was a 90-minute unit, we felt more like we were watching a series pilot.
Everything was there: character introductions, sublime setting, artwork and a well-crafted plot, a charismatic antagonist and a cliffhanger that keeps the audience on their toes. However, it all came to a screeching halt very quickly as events were finally revealed!
The end of spy school raises many questions
But then, what will happen to Pierre (Lorenzo Lefebvre) after her kidnapping? What will happen to the spy school after its own betrayal? Will students send you on missions soon?
Unfortunately, it is not certain that we will have answers to our questions because, at the moment, no one knows if there will be a sequel to this very ambitious TV movie.
Spy School can become a TV series
According to our colleagues Telemag Which went into filming in July 2023, this unit is supposed to be a pilot. If the audience is there, the feature film will become the next series.
It explains that sense of unfinished business we’ve all probably felt when discovering the latest spy school pictures. But to know if there will be a sequel, we first need to know the number of viewers who have gathered in front of their small screens to be sure.
One thing is for sure, we really hope to find a sequel, because this first part convinced us so much. With a dynamic production and ultra-engaging characters, we want to know more.
remind you School of spies follows the training of young students in the art of strategy, weapons handling, new technologies and everything that allows their students to become talented secret agents. We highly recommend this new nugget.
