– I think he adapted very quickly to the club. He ended up adapting, identifying with Botafogo. So he’s a really nice guy. Playful when he needs to distract himself a bit. But also when you work. He’s a guy who works seriously. Which takes a toll. Even the young and the old. Independent. He’s a guy who always puts you there. Give you confidence, which is the most important thing. Try to make our team as offensive as possible. Be an offensive and aggressive team. Always look for the goal. Regardless of whether you’re winning or losing. If you play away, at home. Look for the same thing: to be aggressive. Be a team that looks for goals. Always the victory.
EXPECTATIONS FOR THE BOTAFOGO SEASON
– I think if we continue in the direction we are, we can win big things like the Brasileiro and the Libertadores, which is the championship we are still in. We will work hard to win these two titles that we have left. It will be a great end of the year for our team. This year we will focus on achieving many things.
BRAZILIAN OR LIBERTADORES?
– We are not choosing the championship. At the beginning we play with the Brasileiro and the Libertadores. So these are the two titles that we will enter with maximum strength to win them both. If I could choose a title to win with Botafogo: Libertadores.
