For the past few days, Netflix has been experiencing technical issues with some of its fiction related to dubbing and sound. Indeed, subscribers noticed discrepancies between the French dubbing and the actual speech of the actors, approximate sound effects or simply the absence of dubbing.
Very disgruntled netizens took to social media to take the issue back to Netflix. Based on the claims we can make out, we can see that these technical problems affect both the new series and the old ones. Among the fiction cited are The Manifesto, the Spanish thriller The Night Will Be Long, and Owl, Owl, a new comedy with Lana Condor (To All the Boys I’ve Loved).
In addition to these series that have achieved some success on the platform, there are also some Netflix planetary boxes that are affected by these technical problems, namely Stranger Things! A user noticed that one of the episodes simply didn’t have a French dub when he reported it.
What is the French dub of Boo, Bitch? Between the non-existent sound effects and episode 3, Delirium changes

#Netflix The problem in the new series will be long nights, the problem of dubbing voices on certain passages, suddenly we can’t hear anything 🙄 Thanks

@NetflixFR I watched the night will be long last night, is it normal that the audio tracks are missing for some dialogue in vf?

But episode 3 of Boo bitch what the hell is the sound moved @NetflixFR I will find you to fix it 😡

At this time, Netflix has not responded to these requests and requests from subscribers, who are increasingly complaining about technical problems. This is not the first time that netizens have asked for French dubbing for their series or said that the dubbing is not good or does not exist. Sometimes the @Netflixhelps account encourages people to report problems on a dedicated site. But they seem to persist, much to the dismay of subscribers.
It would be cool if you put the dubs in fr when they exist or fr racking on Netflix US, JP to enjoy it even more 😁😁😁😉
