Please note, below is the synopsis for Better Call Saul Season 6 Episode 8 available on Netflix. If you haven’t seen it yet and don’t want to know anything about its content, I suggest you stop reading this article now.

And Lalo leaves us… The drug addict played by Tony Dalton in Better Call Saul was killed by his rival Gus Fring during the eighth episode of the current season 6, available on Netflix. Remember that in the last episode, which closed the first part of the last season, Lalo Salamanca shot poor Howard Hamlin, Jimmy McGill (a.k.a. Saul Goodman) and Kim Wexler in full view.

More cunning than ever in this new episode of the Breaking Bad prequel, Lalo forces Jimmy to go to Gus’s house and shoot him, then bring him photo evidence of the murder, or he’ll eliminate Kim, who has been holding hostages throughout the operation. . In order to protect his wife, Jimmy manages to convince him to switch roles: Kim will go and kill Gus, and he himself will remain a hostage of Lalo. The latter accepts the proposal without any difficulty.

However, things don’t go as planned: Kim is captured by Mike, who is leading an operation to kill Lalo under the supervision of Gus. The latter nevertheless foresaw the betrayal of the McGills and took a step forward by going to Gus’s lab to finally prove the building’s existence to his boss, Don Eladio.

A final masterful episode for this anthology villain!

But Gus understands the situation when Kim admits to his men that Jimmy managed to convince Lalo to switch roles. His change of plans along the way is not in keeping with the usual modus operandi of a drug dealer. Accompanied by several men, Gus goes to the laboratory and falls into a trap set by his rivals.

In a highly tense encounter, Gus manages to regain the upper hand and shoot Lalo in the neck; He survives only thanks to the bulletproof vest he was wearing, but he was still hit in the side, although it wasn’t a fatal wound (since Gus wasn’t supposed to die at this point in the story, but a few years later at the hands of Lalo’s uncle, Hector Salamanca).

How did the internet users react to the death of this iconic character of the series?

Episodes of the second part of the final season of Better Call Saul can be seen every Tuesday, exclusively on Netflix!
