Rock in Rio 2024 Announces Actor and Rapper Will Smith as Attraction: “Music Is an Old Love”

The Hollywood star will perform on September 19, bringing his greatest hits to the festival

American actor and singer Will Smith55 years old, will perform at Rock in Rio 2024. The announcement was made in the program Fantástico, on Rede Globo, this Sunday 1.

“I’m nervous about going out as a singer. Every time I’ve been to Brazil it’s been to promote a movie. Being there for Rock in Rio will be something new for me,” Smith said.

Winning Actor Oscarfour-time Grammy winner, producer and singer, the rapper recently revived his music career by releasing the single “You Can Make It.” Will Smith performs on the Sunset Stage in front of Gloria Groove. It will be a 20-minute teaser of his greatest hits that will be part of his world tour next year. He will perform on the 19th, the same date as one of the main attractions of the stage, singer Ed Sheeran.

Throughout his career, Smith has become known for his performances on television and in films such as Independent Day AND men in blackFurthermore King Richardfor which he won an Oscar. But the actor has released five albums and several singles, all aimed at the rap universe.
