Tuesday September 3rd A more beautiful life, even more beautiful…
Killian is in deep trouble
At Massalia’s residence, Killian is still trying to fill out his paycheck. Apolline helps her reset the password, but the young woman notices that she has blocked access to her account with incorrect attempts.
As always, Apollin uses clear words to explain things. He shows him how to solve the problem, but Killian does not like his authority and aggressiveness at all. He turns off the computer and pretends to be late for work.
At Mistral, Killian pays Aya’s salary in cash instead of bank transfer. He is surprised by this unusual approach. Thomas, who is watching the scene from a distance, asks his brother if he managed to file his salary declaration.
The latter replies that a computer error prevented him from completing the process. Thomas is concerned because late payments can result in significant penalties. Killian didn’t know this disturbing detail. Will it solve the problem in time?
Liao says goodbye to his colleagues
Meilin spent the night in a cell. Early in the morning he discovers Ross’s daughter in front of him. A young woman wants to know the truth: why did she kill her father? Liao replies that he used the men at the risk of their lives and that he should pay.
He concludes by confessing the truth: “I killed your father because mine died because of him!” In fact, we find out that the commissioner is hallucinating and is alone in his cell. Ariane arrives at the same time and Meilin asks him to speak to the judge.
Minutes later, in the judge’s office, Meilin confesses to killing Ross. He wanted to confess because he recognized himself in Ross’s daughter. He then told the judge: “When the person who ruined your life is enjoying himself in peace, he eats.”
The judge replies that he always finds her cold but very competent. He wishes him success in his trials and adds: “I enjoyed working with you, Commissioner.” Meilin replies: “It’s mutual.”
Before going to prison, Meilin wants to say one last word to her team. He tells them he’s relieved he told the truth, but blames himself for tarnishing the police department’s reputation. He thanks his colleagues for their seriousness. Patrick finally looks at her and says: “Goodbye Commissioner.”
Morgan, on the other hand, is shocked. He cannot believe that Meiline did such a thing and is angry with her. He feels betrayed because he considered the commissar to be his role model. He said to Patrick: “Women with a position like her are not common. Patrick advises him to toughen up because this job is not easy.
At the end of the day, Ariane, Patrick and Samuel toast the end of this difficult investigation. Patrick takes the opportunity to inform his colleagues that their new boss is coming tomorrow. Who are you talking about?
Tragedy soon?
Maya’s abusive husband has returned to the Flower Pavilion. He is desperate to find out where his wife and children are hiding. He threatens Blanche and Luna, but they stand him up and ask him to leave the building before they call the police.
The latter leaves him angrier than ever. Once alone, Blanche and Luna come to their senses and immediately contact the police. They fear that this man will pick up their children after school.
At Mistral, Thomas informs Barbara that Meilin is indeed Mario Rossi’s killer. Barbara will not tolerate the action of the commissioner. Thomas, on the other hand, is very compassionate, even though he almost killed her. Barbara said to her friend: “I love you, you’re perfect”. Thomas replies that he loves her too.
A few minutes later, Barbara informs Thomas that Marie Duroc, a 1 star chef, had cancer and it changed his vision. So she decided to leave everything behind to create a women’s reintegration project.
Barbara wanted this chef to meet Blanche and Luna tomorrow. But for that, Barbara has to take a day off. She asks Thomas if he is giving her a problem, he says no without the slightest hesitation. Barbara hugs her best friend and says: “Why is everything so easy with you?”
In turn, Jennifer, who is having lunch at Mistral, congratulates Barbara on her meal of the day. He takes the opportunity to tell her that he would be happy to resume his duties at the medical office. To celebrate the good news, Barbara suggests going out for drinks with Blanche and Luna.
At the end of the day, Barbara, Jennifer, Blanche and Luna meet at the Pavillon des Fleurs for an aperitif with the girls. But what they don’t know is that an abusive man is standing outside the door listening to their conversation. Is he going to seize them?
