Un Si Grand Soleil preview: Tuesday, September 3, 2024 episode recap [SPOILERS]

Warning, the following paragraphs contain spoilers for the episode of Un Si Grand Soleil that airs Monday night on France 2! If you don’t want to understand anything, don’t read the following!

On Tuesday 3 September at Un si grand soleil…

Evan was kidnapped

Evan didn’t come home all night. As she was due back from her shift two hours ago, Chloe is worried. The latter tries to contact him, but to no avail. Robin, on the other hand, thinks her father was just rushed to the hospital and says she’s sure he won’t be around long.

Although she goes to work a little relieved, Chloe loses her smile when she receives a call from Janet. Indeed, the latter is desperate to contact Evan as he did not show up for work this morning. Surprised, the clerk reminded her that she was on call that night, but Janet didn’t know about it. Uncomfortable, she promises to find out and find out about this story as quickly as possible.

When she goes to court, Chloe tells Cecil her worries. Fearing that something serious has happened to Evan, the clerk goes to the police station to report her husband missing.

On the spot, it’s Eliza who takes his statement. When the cop tries to find out if they had relationship issues, Chloe ends up telling him that her husband lied about custody of her. However, even if he cheated and wanted to leave her, Chloe is sure that Evan wouldn’t do that. He said he would at least give their son some news. Although there isn’t much he can do at this point, the cop still promises to check if the doctor’s car is missing or vandalized.

At nightfall, Chloe searches her husband’s tablet and discovers that he has installed “Affinita”, a dating app.

At the police station, the commissioner tells Ian and Elise that the prosecutor is entrusting them with the investigation of the Avignon murder.

A few steps away, Evan wakes up in a mysterious room. During a headache, the doctor remembers waiting for someone to hit him in the head in the parking lot. Evan quickly notices that the windows in the room have been bricked up. Then he asks for help. in vain

The Lamier family is being interrogated by the police

After a few days of hospitalization, Allen returns home. And suffice it to say, the doctor fully intends to take advantage of these few days of pampering in recovery.

Meanwhile, Elisabeth and Fleur have nothing to do with the investigation. As Allen tries to figure out what’s going on, the two women tell him the whole story. If he has a hard time imagining Lauryn doing this, it doesn’t matter to Elizabeth, who reminds him that she still set his car on fire. For Flor, it was Catherine who made the attack alone, and Lauryn covered her. A hypothesis that everyone seems to agree with.

Meanwhile, Captain Leon arrives at Catherine’s house. The latter, stunned, continues to drink glasses while answering the policeman’s questions.

In the afternoon, Boris informs Elizabeth that he will not be able to attend at 3 pm because he has been summoned by the police. Then the businessman revealed to him that he had revealed his suspicions about Catherine to the investigators. She goes on to explain that if it turns out that her mother is involved in this story, she will not be held accountable for her actions.

For her part, Lorin understands Captain Leon and assures her that she was with her mother when Elizabeth’s car caught fire. As for Allen’s diagnosis, Lorin says he just looked at the tests.

Later in the day, Elizabeth gets a call from Catherine, who accuses her of sending the police to the house. While the businessman replies that he was just doing his job, Catherine accuses him of wanting to send her to prison. When she realizes that she is not in a normal state, Elisabeth wants to end the discussion. Catherine then assures him that the story is far from over.

Not far from there, Lorin and Boris leave the police station. On the way out, Boris assures his sister that he didn’t say anything, even though he really wanted to. After making sure she won’t change her mind, the young woman tells her that Catherine drinks a lot and takes anxiolytics all day. Lost, Lorin doesn’t know what to do.
