But there are other fans who are more confused by the announcement, or even worried, because only two actresses – Sophia Bush and Hilary Burton – have confirmed their participation in the casting of this Scott Brothers sequel.
according to termSet 20 years after the original, the sequel will focus on Peyton and Brooke’s lives as teenage parents. “faces challenges that are no stranger to those who faced them in the original series, such as love, vulnerability and heartbreak”.
And the absence of other key Scott Brothers characters — starting with the Scott Brothers themselves — has been derided by some fans. Obviously, this is less of a problem in Atlantic, the original series was called “One Tree Hill”. In France, it was dubbed “The Scott Brothers”, a title that would be difficult to claim if said brothers were not in the sequel.
On the other hand, I want the Scott brothers to come back, but if you don’t have Nathan Lucas and Heaney, have them (that would tell me, yes, Peyton’s kids are Scott, so it works)

What kills me is that in France it has to be called “Les Frères Scott” to follow the license, except it will have 0 Scott brothers (and already at the end of the series there was more than one) https://t.co/svZh6h1RUG

They want to make a spin off of the Scott brothers without the Scott brothers ok lol https://t.co/ZgRksxWd26

The Scott brothers without them and Lucas are meaningless. https://t.co/fd6UD5nhxB

New Season 2 I’m Not Sure Is It Just Peyton and Brooke? The Scott Brothers literally without the Scott Brothers? Then what is this pitch?? Just two girls dealing with their children’s teenage crisis? jsp la

A sequel to The Scott Brothers without The Scott Brothers is my giggle

At the moment, the Scott brothers’ continuation project is only in its early stages, and new announcements and changes can always be shared with fans who are very concerned, even defensive, about this series, which is still iconic and watched by its audience.
The series “The Scott Brothers” is available in its entirety on Prime Video in France.
