Presented as part of the Un Certain Regard section, Dog Trial Laetitia is Doshi’s first feature film. The Franco-Swiss actor delivers here an unclassifiable gem, an absurd and unusual fantasy, as well as dark and disturbing, in which, as a lawyer, he is responsible for protecting a dog that was threatened with euthanasia after biting a young woman.
