Linkin Park has a new singer! The group, previously led by Chester Bennington, who passed away in 2017, will now have Emily Armstrong as lead singer and Colin Brittain on drums.
The announcement came this Thursday (5), along with a new album, entitled “From Zero”, and an unprecedented tour.
But who is Emily Armstrong after all? The new singer of Linkin Park was born in Los Angeles, USA, in 1986, and has been involved in music since she was a child. During her adolescence, her attention was 100% focused on composing music. That’s why she chose to stop studying.
At the age of 16, she founded the group Epiphany, now called Dead Sara. Among the best-known songs of the American rock trio are “Weatherman”, a cover of “Heart-Shaped Box” and “Help Me”, a collaboration with singer Demi Lovato. All songs have over 4 million streams on Spotify.
New Era of Linkin Park
Marking this new phase for Linkin Park, the group will release their album “From Zero” on November 15. It’s worth noting that this will be the band’s first release since “One More Light,” which came out in 2017, the same year Chester Bennington died.
There are no plans to come to Brazil yet, the group’s tour will pass through the United States, Germany, England, South Korea and Colombia.
