The former president spoke to supporters in Juiz de Fora, on the same corner where he was attacked during the 2018 election campaign
The former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) said on Friday 6 that the September 7 event, scheduled in Avenida Paulista, will aim to “challenge the system” and ask for the impeachment of the minister Alexander de Moraesby the Supreme Federal Court (STF). The statement was made during a demonstration in the city of Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, on the same corner where he was stabbed during the 2018 presidential campaign.
“Tomorrow we will be in Paulista. We will not go there to celebrate Independence, because there is no independent country with a people without freedom. We will challenge the system that began to open its entrails exactly six years ago,” said the former president.
Bolsonaro directly attacked Moraes, calling him a “dictator” and “does not want the best future for his country.”
“Tomorrow we will go to Paulista to say that that minister of the Federal Supreme Court is no longer available,” he said, referring to Alexandre de Moraes. “He has no sensitivity, he has no idea, he is acting like an obsessed person to persecute me,” he added.
