It All Begins Here: What’s in store for Wednesday 13 July 2022 Episode 442 [SPOILERS]

On Wednesday, July 13, it all starts here…

Early in the morning, Theo brings breakfast to Celia. However, the young woman does not share his enthusiasm. He knows that he has signed a contract to become the reference chef for Auguste Armand’s restaurants if he wins the Vattel Prize. Although the young man says that he only did it to appease his father, Celia refuses to believe him and issues an ultimatum. It’s his or her career. And making it clear that she doesn’t want a long distance relationship if she chose to stay at Calvier.

A little later, Theo gives Clotilde and Emmanuelle a taste of the jury’s menu. If the chef finds his dish as unexpected and original, his father considers the cooking very controlled and congratulates him. However, Clotilda warns him: his dish is very successful, but also very difficult. Emmanuel pressures him to succeed, but Theo confirms that his brigade is ready.

In the kitchen, Tom and Deva practice preparing the menu, but Theo’s mind is elsewhere. He gets a message from Celia that further distracts him. After being given the wrong direction, Theo apologizes and admits he is worried. Moreover, Tom has heard rumors these past few days at the Institute and suspects that Celia is the reason. The chef finally explains to them that if he wins the prize, he will become the reference chef for all of Auguste Armand’s restaurants, but Celia gives him an ultimatum. Stunned, Tom and Deva urge him not to pass up this opportunity that could ruin his career. But things are not so simple. Theo is madly in love with Celia and refuses to live without her.

Meanwhile, Louis and Charlene are enjoying the nice weather by the pool. Charlene tries to relax, but Louis continues to talk about double A and Vatel’s price. The young woman makes him realize that she does not want to choose between her and her brother. Besides, he wanted to get the thought out of his head. So Louis loses his temper and reminds her that he turned down a job as a chef at a prestigious New York restaurant. Constance, overhearing their discussion, intervenes. He calls out to her to stop her little game immediately or she will kick him out.

Meanwhile, Tom and Deva visit Celia in the swamps. The latter tries to understand that if Theo Vatel does not receive the prize, it will be a failure not only for him, but for the entire brigade. Deva understands her concern, but she doesn’t think Celia is the kind of girl to stop her boyfriend from blossoming. Gaisaki’s girl realizes that Theo deserves the prize and the recognition that comes with it. And when Louis visits her moments later, Celia tells him that she’s changed her mind and has chosen to support the man she loves no matter what. Louis is annoyed, thinking he could manipulate Celia into going to Paris for good with Theo.

At the same time, Theo receives a message from Celia, who helps him win the Vattel prize. Seeing her very happy, Tom and Deva realize that they have managed to change the Gaesak girl’s mind. In their reaction, Theo realizes that the couple had a role in the affair. He thanks them, but warns them: if they start over, he will not release him from his brigade.

Not far from there, Louis continues to take Theo’s place. Moreover, he even asks for help from Claire, who is still in a nursing home. Indeed, the young man wants his mother to postpone the visit of the Vattel price inspector. If Theol’s jury does not show up on the scheduled day, he will assume that Double A is no longer in the running for the prize. So he will leave Paris with Celia. However, Claire explains to him that she cannot ask for such a favor without a good reason. So his son insists and begs him to help him.

Marius finally decided to forgive Greg. Indeed, the young man refuses to be stuck in the past. Greg is relieved they will finally be able to work together on good terms to prepare for the championship. Two friends have a lot to say to each other. Also, Marius wants to know more about Eliot’s backstory because they look good together.

A little later, Noémie’s brigade is busy in the kitchen when Albany, the second pastry chef at Hotel Beaumont, interrupts them. The latter is very angry with them because they took the ingredients from the commissary instead of the supplies meant for them. Greg and Marius apologize, but Noemi defends them. According to him, there are no less ingredients that will make a difference. However, the second is not his opinion. Indeed, if all brigades like it, there will be nothing left in the reserve. As tensions rise between them, Noemi asks Greg and Marius to leave them alone.

After they leave, Albany reveals the real reason for his displeasure: he can’t stand that Noemi took his job away from him. The chef points out that it’s not his fault that Benoit suggested it to him. He tries to reason with her when Deloba interrupts them. Recently, the relationship between Alban and the hotel owner is not good. He decided to demote it because he was looking for someone with innovative suggestions, which is not his thing. If Albany plays comedy and pretends everything is fine, Benoit knows he’s complaining to everyone. He wants to make sure his former boss doesn’t worry Noemi, but he explains to her that they were talking about their organization.

Albany later apologizes to Greg for his behavior. But as Benoit pointed out earlier, the other begins to complain about his situation and feels that his talent is not recognized at its fair value. So the couple cheats on him.

The atmosphere between Guillaume and Letizia is not good. Indeed, the assistant director does not see well his partner’s attitude towards Tony. He doesn’t understand why he spent so much money to invite her to Double A. This morning he decided to go to work waiting for her. So Kelly advises her mom to take it easy on Tony because Guillaume confided in her fears yesterday. If Laetitia tries to temporarily interrupt the situation, her daughter assures her that her lover is jealous and she better be careful.

Later, the tension between Guillaume and Letizia did not subside. When Tony arrives to deliver his lunch, Guillaume doesn’t bother to say hello, much to the annoyance of his companion. Tired of seeing him every day, he asks her to order from somewhere else next time. He also points out that no one can agree to see their partner tied to another man and destroy themselves like that on their birthday when they haven’t seen each other in 18 years. Laetitia is very upset and thinks she shouldn’t react like that if she really trusts him. Convinced that the problem comes from him, he advises him to solve it quickly.

In the swamps, Tony explains to Gaetan that Guillaume has no reason to be jealous, even though he came to Calvier to find Letitia. They are suddenly interrupted by the deputy director, who warns: From now on, catering at the institute is prohibited, so as not to compete with double A.

When Guillaume returns home, Letitia has just hung up on Tony, who has told everything. Very annoyed by his behavior, the young woman confronts him. He swears once again that nothing has happened between them and nothing will happen. However, he is not going to stop seeing her.
