The post asks the following question: what is the best French dish? – and answers – Me: ratatouille. In this way, fans have linked the publication to the arrival of Martial, since the player is French. After all, he was already on Flamengo’s radar in recent days, especially after Pedro’s injury.

PixBet, in turn, even made this kind of ‘joke’ on another recent Rubro-Negro purchase: Michael. However, the sponsor ended up publishing it before the club officially announced it.

Martial at Flamengo

Not being tied to any club, Martial can still sign a contract with any team. However, the amounts requested by the player have become an obstacle to negotiations between the parties. In addition to a contract of at least three years, the attacker intends to receive approximately R$ 2 million per month. Therefore, the Rubro-Negro board will only move forward with negotiations if the value decreases.

The Frenchman began his professional career in his home country, but gained fame in England, playing for Manchester United for eight seasons. However, physical problems have affected Martial throughout his career and he has been on the market since July. At 28, the French striker has not played since December last year.
