The actor from ‘Vikings’ and ‘Raised by Wolves’ will try to solve the mystery of an unsolved murder in ‘Black Snow’
Travis Fimmelthe actor from ‘Vikings’, ‘Raised by Wolves’ and ‘Warcraft’, will star in ‘Black Snow’a new Australian series about an unsolved murder.
In 1995, seventeen-year-old Isabel Baker was murdered. The crime shocked the small town of Ashford and devastated Australia’s South Sea Islander community of Isabel. The case was never solved, the killer was never found. In 2020, the opening of a time capsule reveals a secret that puts the Cold Case Detective James Cormack (Fimmel) on the trail of the murderer.
Also starring newcomers Talijah Blackman-Corowa and Jemmason Power alongside Brooke Satchwell, Alexander England, Rob Carlton, Erik Thomson, Kym Gyngell and Australian singer Ziggy Ramo making his debut on the screen.
‘Black Snow’ will be produced by the Australian platform Stan and by the American Sundance Now of AMC Networks, which will be the one that will premiere the series on the ground.
According to the producers, ‘Black Snow’ “recognizes the traditional custodians of the lands on which the series is producedincluding the Ngaro Gia and Juru peoples of the BirraGubba Nation, and the Australian South Sea Islander community.”
At the moment there is no confirmed release date.
