Actor Alden Ehrenreich, who portrayed Han Solo in “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” has joined the cast of “Iron Heart,” a new MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) series in development for Disney +.
Although his role has not been revealed, Deadline says his role in the story will be considerable.
He is joined by Dominique Thorne (“Judas and the Black Messiah”), who plays Riri Williams / Ironheart, as well as Anthony Ramos (“In a New York City”), Manny Montana (“Good Girls”) and boyfriend Harper. Anthony (“Vulture City”).
In the comics, genius inventor Riri Williams develops the most advanced armor since Tony Stark’s creation of Iron Man. A recent character, she was created by screenwriter Brian Michael Bendis and Brazilian artist Mike Deodato in 2015 as a possible replacement for Iron Man – who, it is worth remembering, is not dead in the comics.
The first appearance of the heroine will take place in the film “Black Panther – Wakanda Forever”, which will be released in Brazilian theaters on November 10th. The series doesn’t have a premiere date yet, but is expected to arrive in 2023.
The development of the production is entrusted to Chinaka Hodge, screenwriter of the series “Snowpiercer” (Snowpiercer).
