Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said Thursday that if elected on Nov. 5, he would end all overtime taxes as part of a broader tax cut package.
“As part of our additional tax cuts, we will eliminate all overtime taxes,” Trump said at a rally in Tucson, Arizona.
“Your overtime will be tax-free,” the former president added.
Trump, who is in a tight race with Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris, has previously said he would seek legislation to end tip taxes, aiming to help service workers. Kamala has made a similar promise.
Trump also said that as president he will pressure the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates.
