A whole “multiverse” for the hosts, including the new addition of season 4.
In 2016, the series ‘Westworld’ came to HBO. In it he presented a theme park where paying guests could immerse themselves in an adventure set in the Wild West, with all the connotations that this entails. There, every guest was free to do with the hosts (the robots created at the disposal of the clientele) what they wanted: meddle in the plot that each character had there and give free rein to any of his lowest instincts.
The one from the Wild West was the first we met… and he wasn’t the only one. Season 4 has featured a new theme park in its first few episodes, premiered on HBO Max, but there’s more. let’s review all the parks we have seen so far in the series. And eye, there is one left to present.
Westworld (Park 1)
Westworld is ground zero for all the action in the series, as well as the crown jewel of Delos creations.. It was the first park, created by Robert Ford and his business partner, Arnold Weber. It is one of the largest parks that Delos offers its guests, with multiple towns and open land available for guests to explore. It is mentioned at one point that it costs a staggering 40,000 a day, giving viewers an idea of the level of privilege required to experience the park’s many offerings.
There really are no rules at Westworld, which makes it an attractive option for those guests looking to let loose. and let you explore your vices and maybe even do unspeakable things without consequences. Park guests may not be shot or physically harmed by a Host; the guests can, of course, do those things free of judgement, that is one of the main attractions, although the options are more extensive.
Since it is the heart from which the plot starts, in the first two seasons we were able to see several of their stories and experiences.
The Raj (Park 6)

The Raj, also known as Park 6, was first seen in the first trailer for the second season. This location focuses on the stage of India when it was a British colony, from 1858 to 1947, whose regime was called the British Raj. All this style, from the laws to its social structure, culture and the arts, is palpable in the images that are seen, which are set well into the 20th century.
The experience in this park promises to be much more relaxing. However, we can hardly appreciate the singularities of this location in the series, since it serves as a way to bring William’s, Emily (Katja Herbers), into the story. She is first seen as a park guest trying to find out the whereabouts of her father, but not before seducing a host and killing him.
Shogun World (Park 2)

Shogun World appeared in the first season and developed in the second. This Delos park is inspired by the Edo period in Japan, which lasted from approximately 1603 to 1868. In it, guests can experience all the complexity of nature: beauty and danger, good and evil, in a place protected by the passage of time. That, and enter the world of ninjas, samurais, geishas, ronin (masterless samurais) and katanas.
It is unknown when exactly Shogunworld was built, as it does not appear in Robert Ford or Arnold Webber’s flashbacks to the past when they first designed the Hosts. It is possible that this location, like the rest of the Delos Destinations theme parks, was designed years later.
Warworld (Park 3)

Warworld is the park that refers to the Second World War, specifically in a small Italian town occupied by the Nazis. The location is not lacking in detail, with army tanks lining the streets and townspeople gathered in the square. It looks like the hosts could choose whether they want to run with Nazi soldiers or side with the locals as part of their experience. Maeve is one of many Hosts in this park. We find out in the second episode of the third season when the character wakes up there.
golden-age

The last episode of the fourth season featured the new ‘Westworld’ theme park, the roaring 20s have sneaked into the series. The new location that we have discovered in the series pleases its clientele with American-style life during that buoyant and hectic period: jazz music, parties and debauchery, but also a lot of crime, gangsters and the world of criminality roaming freely. We have hardly seen much more of this park, which we have discovered at the end of the chapter from the hand of Maeve and Caleb.
What parks remain to be discovered in the theme of the series?
At the end of Season 3 we learned that there was another location where Dolores met Caleb. The protagonist revealed that the United States Armed Forces have used the park, which appears to be Park 5, sometime to train because they wanted realistic real shooting drills. Among the soldiers, was Caleb. In his unit, the soldiers proposed to abuse the hostesses, Dolores included, during the training break, something that the boy prevented.
In this new season that has just started, it remains to be seen if we will learn more about the park dedicated to the 1920s, or if there are still any surprises in the form of a new theme park. We will see.
