Valorie Carr joined The Boys in the final season 4 of Prime Video’s satirical superhero series as heroine and far-right activist Misty Tucker Gray, also known as Firecracker.
In a video message posted on Instagram on September 7, the actor mentioned meeting two fans who were “angry” when he didn’t receive an “inappropriate” request from them.
The actor said that while his terrifying character did “some pretty extreme things” on the show, it was unacceptable to ask him to act like a firecracker himself.
“I just got back from the first day of Comic-Con in Belfast, Northern Ireland and overall everyone was fantastic“- he began. “I’ve just started doing these conventions on my own and everyone, for the most part, has been so lovely and kind and respectful – it’s been really great. But we need to talk about boundaries and what is appropriate in terms of behavior. I know people have seen the character I play do some pretty extreme things in The Boys. I don’t care if you’re in costume, I don’t care if you’re in character, it’s okay and it’s not fun to ask me these things in person in my booth. It’s not good.“
He added:Honestly, to the person who did this a few times today, I made it very clear that it was wrong and it only pissed him and his friend off. I didn’t think it needed explaining, but I was deeply uncomfortable—it was pretty obvious that I was. Honestly, you should know. Everyone knows better. I don’t know what reaction you were looking for. Nobody laughed.“
Valori Curry He also said that he enjoys interacting with fans of the show, but he can’t do it anymore if people act like that because it makes him too uncomfortable.

In a statement to the BBC, event organizers said they had been in contact with the actor and were very clear about this kind of behavior from some fans.
“They are not in character and they are not playing the roles you see on screen. Please treat all guests and each other with respect and know that inappropriate comments are not acceptable, even if you are cosplaying and “playing” a character yourself. It is not allowed to make a guest or another person uncomfortable for you and your friends. We have a zero tolerance policy for this behavior and if a guest or member of the public feels harassed, please report your concerns to a member of our security team.“
The future of his character
As for his character, Valori Curry recently announced that he hoped he would die in the final season boys.
“I hope he dies. He deserves it, from a lot of people. He is horrible. I hope he dies. I hope it’s not because of the drugs because it seems so easy“, he said.
5th season boys It will indeed be the last, as announced by showrunner Eric Kripke. According to a report from Variety last August, it’s currently being written, and its 8 episodes are set to start shooting in November and run until mid-2025, so with that in mind, we can expect a 2026 release.
Meanwhile, the first 4 seasons of The Boys are available to watch again streaming exclusively on Prime Video.
