For the second week in a row, The Ghosts Still Have Fun: Beetlejuice Beetlejuicelong-awaited sequel to Ghosts Have Funa 1988 classic directed by Tim Burtontopped the Brazilian box office.
The new film grossed R$4.62 million nationwide, taking the lead, ahead of last week’s big debut, Speak No Evilremake of the Danish feature film Speak No Evilwhich came in second place with R$1.78 million raised.
Deadpool & Wolverinea new addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which was falling in the rankings, gained strength again with the 5th edition of Cinema Week and came in third place, raising R$1.74 million.

In The Ghosts Still Have Fun: Beetlejuice Beetlejuicethree generations of the family Deetz return home to Winter River. There, life Lydia (Winona Ryder) is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid (Jenna Ortega, Wandinha), discovers the mysterious model of the city in the attic, and the portal to the afterlife is accidentally opened.
With trouble in both kingdoms, it’s only a matter of time before someone says the name of Beetlejuice three times, and the mischievous demon, played by Michael Keaton (The Flash) come back to bring your own style of chaos to the world.
