Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Wednesday, September 18, 2024 [SPOILERS]

Police game-changing discovery

At the police station, Commissioner Becker’s teams carry out the ongoing investigation. According to the diary taken by Alex, Celine was abroad at the time of the kidnapping of Patrice Leguy and Martin Heran. Meanwhile, police are still waiting to analyze Céline’s fingerprints to see if they match those found in Avignon.

Chloe, on the other hand, is in tears. It must be said that the latter never stops thinking about her husband and is afraid of going crazy. Cecil then tries to comfort her, advising her to trust the police before urging her to go home to rest.

Not far from there, Alex informs Commissioner Becker that Celine’s fingerprints do not match those found at the Avignon crime scene. The police can now forget the dating app trail. Since they have 8 days left to find Evan, Commissioner Becker asks him to continue the hearings.

Meanwhile, Manu questions the police officer who led the investigation into Leo’s drowning. The latter remembers that Leo was hit in the head. Unfortunately, there were no witnesses, no signs of a struggle, no motive, and no proof of the murder. On the other hand, the older brother of the victim made sure that it was not an accident. And for good reason, Leo was abused and beaten in the days before his death.

Meanwhile, Evan is at his wits’ end and tries to talk to his captor. Indeed, the doctor believes that he was treating one of his loved ones and could not save him. He then explains to her that he does his best to treat patients, but that he is not infallible before asking for forgiveness. Evan then begs her to let him go, but to no avail.

Alex receives a voicemail from Celine, inviting him to see her again to pick up where they left off. As Alex is about to answer her, Elise shows up and tells her that she can now delete her profile on the dating app.

In the evening, Manu informs his colleagues that Raphael, Leo’s older brother, has joined the Legion after the investigation into his brother’s death was dismissed. But that’s not all. In fact, Raphael had left his post in Guyana six months earlier, just as the killings began…

Mark is on the right track

In Midi Libre, Marc and Marie-Sophie watch dogs disappear in the region. Although he tried to draw the topography of the dogs, the journalist did not find any repetition in the neighbors. Indeed, all places are different and nothing connects them. In other words, Mark is stuck. Despite everything, he is not going to give up.

At the same time, Dimitri continues scouting and observes a woman walking her dog. He takes advantage of the fact that the latter leaves the animal at the entrance of the store to kidnap him. However, the woman sees him doing it. Although she tries to stop him, Dimitri is faster and runs away with the animal.

In turn, Charles criticizes Laura for not telling him she was seeing someone. Although she spends a lot of time with Dimitri, Laura claims to be single and likes to fly and hang out. He also explains that it is not a gift. It must be said that in addition to infidelity, Laura is a mess, does not know how to cook and snores at night. Only Charles doesn’t see the problem with that. Laura says he did her a favor.

Not far from there, Mark continues his investigation and discovers that all the kidnapped dogs have been traced to Rebecca’s office.

The journalist goes there without waiting and asks the veterinarian. Unfortunately, Rebecca and Charles can’t do anything for him because only they have access to the clinic’s database.

Dimitri, in turn, demands a ransom from the owner of the dog that he kidnapped a few hours earlier.

At the end of the day, Mark calls Leonor to warn her that he will be home late. Convinced that Rebecca is dealing with a thief, the journalist continues his investigation and follows her. Then he discovers that a young woman is having an affair with Dimitri.
