The actress and youtuber Rachell Marie Hofstetterwho made a guest appearance in A Minecraft Moviea film adaptation of the hit game, accused Jason Momoa (Aquaman 2: The Lost Empire) of mistreating crew members during the filming of the new release.

In an interview with the channel JasonTheWeenon YouTube, the actress recounted her experience on the film set: “I saw him mistreating some of the staff, and it was very disappointing.”stated [via New York Post].

“It was right after a very intense scene. It was a very emotional scene, so maybe he was still in character, I don’t know. I was just surprised by the way he treated some of the crew.”continued the actress.

Hofstetter went on to say that, supposedly, Momoa “I was really upset” because the team “I wasn’t doing something right”: “They were setting up the scene and stuff. He was angry, very upset, and yelling. I thought, ‘Man, this is not a good working environment. I would not be happy working in these conditions.'”he added.

Until now, Jason Momoa did not comment on the accusation, as did Warner Bros. Pictures, responsible for A Minecraft Movie.

What is the story of A Minecraft Movie?

So far, the plot of A Minecraft Movie has not been revealed, but the first teaser showed the protagonists of the story — Garrett (Momoa), Henry (Sebastian Eugene Hansen, Fight for Justice), Natalie (Emma Myers, Wandinha) and Dawn (Danielle Brooks, The Color Purple) — being transported to the Overworld, the square world of Minecraft.

There, they discover that imagination is the key to mastering this new place and getting back home. In the meantime, the quartet still finds Steveone of the main characters in the game, played by Jack Black (School of Rock). Watch:

A Minecraft Movie is directed by Jared Hessof Napoleon Dynamite (2004), based on the script by Chris Bowman (The Worst Years of My Life) and Hubbel Palmer (Criminal Masterminds), and still counts Jennifer Coolidge (The White Lotus) in the cast.

In the United States, A Minecraft Movie is scheduled to premiere on April 4, 2025. Here, the film should arrive a day earlier, on the 3rd, as usual, but the release date has not yet been confirmed.
