The spot dollar closed down 0.71% at R$5.4213 on sale

The spot dollar completed its seventh consecutive session of decline on Thursday, approaching 5.40 reais, as prices reacted to the previous day’s interest rate decisions in Brazil and the United States, which were favorable to attracting resources to the domestic market.

The cash dollar closed the day down 0.71%, trading at 5.4213 reais. Over the past seven working days, the U.S. currency has accumulated a decline of 4.14%.

At 17:04, on B3, the dollar futures contract with the first expiry fell by 0.58% to 5.4310 reais for sale.
