The actress returns to play the role of Esther alongside Julia Stiles and Rossif Sutherland

Diamond Films has released the national poster and trailer for “Orphan 2: Inception,” which brings actress Isabelle Fuhrman back in the role of child psychopath Esther.
Interestingly, the film is a prologue. But Fuhrman, who was 12 when the original film came out, is now 25. The preview reveals that few tricks have been used to make her look like a child, making her appearance one of the reasons for the plot annoyance.

Politically incorrect, the first “The Orphan” was a great success, tapping into fears that adopted children could pose a potential danger to their new families.
The film popularized actress Fuhrman, who later starred in “The Hunger Games” (2012), as well as boosting the career of Spanish director Jaume Collet-Serra, now best known for a variety of action thrillers with Liam Neeson.
The prologue will show how Leena Klammer (Fuhrman), a girl who escaped from an asylum in Russia and arrived in the United States, managed to pretend to be the missing daughter of a wealthy family, becoming Esther. The cast also highlights Julia Stiles (“Jason Bourne”) and Rossif Sutherland (“Catastrophe”) as Esther’s parents.
The screenplay was written by David Coggeshall (“Summoning Spirits 2”) and directed by William Brent Bell (“Doll of Evil”).
“Orphan 2: The Origin” will be released in Brazilian theaters on September 15th, almost a month after its US release (on 8/19).
