Netflix and Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison created a comedy You’re not so invited to my Bat Mitzvah! Based on the YA novel of the same name by Alloy Entertainment.
Idina Menzel, who starred opposite Sandler uncut gemstones, Saturday night live Actors Sarah Sherman, Sunny Sandler, Sadie Sandler and Luis Guzman are part of the cast of the comedy directed by Sammy Cohen. Alongside Jackie Sandler, the project also stars Ido Mosser, Samantha Lorraine, Dylan Hoffman, Dean Scott Vasquez, Mia Czech, Ivory Baker, Dylan Dash, Millie Thorpe and Zaara Kutemporuri.
Alison Peck’s adaptation of Fiona Rosenblum’s novel takes place when a girl’s bat mitzvah plots to comically unravel and threatens to destroy one of the most important events of her youth.
Sandler, who will also star in the film, will produce alongside Tim Herlihy for Happy Madison, Leslie Morgenstein and Elisa Koplovitz Dutton for Alloy Entertainment. Barry Bernard, Judith Mol and Kevin Grady will executive produce.
