Marvel’s Suicide Squad Revealed With First Trailer!

Marvel’s Suicide Squad has finally been revealed! Following the success of Deadpool & Wolverine ($1.3 billion at the international box office), the first trailer for Thunderbolts* has just been released by Marvel.

“Beware Who Gathers Together” is the tagline of the film directed by Jake Schreier and centered on a team of anti-heroes led by Elena Belova, played by Florence Pugh.

The actress reprises the role she already played in Black Widow and shares the bill with David Harbor (Red Guardian), Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost in Ant-man), Wyatt Russell (John Walker in the series Falcon and the Soldier of Winter) Olga Kurylenko (Taskmaster Black Widow), Sebastian Stan aka Bucky Barnes, The Winter Soldier, Julia Louis-Dreyfus who lends her features to Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Lewis Pullman who plays Sentry, Geraldine Viswanathan and Harrison Forreson. Thaddeus Rossi, already in the cast of Captain America.

“There are only bad people and others who are worse…” announces Julia Louis-Dreyfus, reprising her role as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, the new CIA director in Thunderbolts*. Thus, it is assumed that these anti-heroes will have to face much more terrifying encounters than they did.

In these first images, we do indeed discover the group trapped in hospital gowns. It is about that Lewis Pullman who plays the Sentry (a role Steven Yeun had to play due to scheduling issues prior to departure). This character is on par with Marvel’s Superman. This anti-hero has a dual personality: every good deed Sentry does results in a negative equivalent of the Void, his evil side, unbeknownst to Sentry.

thunder* Coming to our theaters on April 30, 2025, just two and a half months after Julius Ona’s Captain America: Brave New World , Anthony Mackie will make his first appearance as Captain America. Two feature films in which Harrison Ford Credits his features to Thaddeus “Thunder” Ross, aka Red Hulk.
