“Dance with the devil and he’ll follow you home.” That’s the tagline for Sinners, the new collaboration between director Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan.
Fruitvale Station (2013), Creed – The Legacy of Rocky Balboa (2015), Black Panther (2018) and Wakanda Forever, in which Jordan makes a brief appearance (2022), reunite the prolific duo sinnersTheir first horror movie.
The feature film is set in the 1930s (during Prohibition), when two twin brothers (Michael B. Jordan) return to their hometown to start over, trying to break free from their troubled past. But they understand that a much stronger evil force is waiting for their return… so the interpreter of Adonis Creed plays two roles here, including that of a demon. If these images do not specify the nature of evil, the first information about The Sinners made it clear that it was a vampire film.
Michael B. Jordan stars in the film alongside Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Jaime Lawson, Delroy Lindos, Omar Benson Miller, Wunmi Mosaku and Lee Joon Lee.
When announcing the project, journalist Boris Kit Dan The Hollywood Reporterstated that Ryan Coogler and Michael B. This new Jordan collaboration will have a big impact on Japanese anime, which the actor is passionate about. However, these first images are more reminiscent of the Robert Rodriguez film One Night Starring George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino.
But you’ll have to wait to find out more, as the feature film hits theaters on March 5, 2025.
