Pop star and actress Lady Gaga says her surprise follow-up album to “Joker” will feature new songs she wrote for the film and album.
The Grammy and Oscar winner announced the 13-track album “Harlequin” on Tuesday, just days before its release on Friday.
“These are all really interesting original productions,” Lady Gaga told Reuters on the red carpet at the premiere of “Joker Delight” in London on Wednesday.
“It has a lot of the songs that are in ‘Joker,’ as well as some original songs I wrote for the movie and one that’s just for the album, called ‘Happy Mistake,’” he said.
The 38-year-old musician is simultaneously working on her next studio album, called “LG7.”
“My studio album is coming out in February and my first single is coming out very soon, so I’m excited about that too,” she said.
In her latest film role, the “A Star Is Born” and “Gucci House” actress plays the Joker’s love interest, Harleen Quinzel, aka Harley Quinn.
“Joker: Delirium for Two” will be released in theaters worldwide on October 1st.
