The Rogue One: A Star Wars Story actor’s role in the film, which is already in post-production after wrapping filming, has not been revealed
The filming of Supermana feature film that will kick off the new DC Cinematic Universe, may have ended, but it’s never too late to bring a new guest to the party: according to Deadline, Alan Tudyk (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Firefly) was confirmed in the cast of the new james gunn.
The character of Tudyk It hasn’t been revealed, but the bet is on the supervillain Doctor Phosphoruswhich the actor voices in Max’s upcoming animated series, Creature Commandos. The novelty is part of the first phase of the new DC Universe, called “Gods and Monsters”, and Gunn had already said that the next actors in the franchise would be divided between different projects:
“Our characters can be in an animation and appear in a video game or even in a movie”he stated during the Annecy Animation Festival, last June. “But they will remain consistent: same character, same story and same actor.”

Superman will accompany Superman/Clark Kent in the quest to reconcile Kryptonian heritage with human creation. The production will star David Corenswet (Pearl, Hollywood) as the protagonist and Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) as the reporter Lois Lanethe hero’s love interest.
In addition to Corenswet, Brosnahan and Gisondothe film also features Nicholas Hoult (The Great), Nathan Fillion (The Suicide Squad), Isabella Merced (Madame Teia), Edi Gathegi (Dusk), Anthony Carrigan (Barry), Maria Gabriela de FarÃa (Isa TKM) and the model Sara Sampaio in the cast.
Supermanwhich is also written by james gunnis scheduled to arrive in Brazilian cinemas from July 10, 2025.
