It appears that Armie Hammer’s situation in the Cayman Islands has finally been clarified.

It now appears that this particular aspect of Hammer’s life has finally been clarified.

In case you missed the news last week, a picture of a flyer circulated on social media announcing that Armie Hammer was working at a hotel in the Cayman Islands as a “personal concierge” to tour. This was followed by photos of Hammer wearing a blue polo shirt and pants and walking into the offices of a resort in the Cayman Islands. While one of Hammer’s attorneys, Andrew Brettler, had previously claimed the pamphlet was fake, Variety Now he has found out that the actor works in the hotel, only that he sells timeshares. According to an anonymous source:

This person also told the publication that before selling timeshares, Armie Hammer ran an apartment complex in the Cayman Islands and lived there so he could be close to his ex-wife Elizabeth and their two children. Although Hammer is the great-grandson of oil tycoon Armand Hammer, she wouldn’t be on the “family payroll” and he must have a “regular and respectable job” as her Hollywood jobs grew. Variety previously reported that an employee of the hotel in question claimed the brochure was made up as a joke and that Hammer simply stayed there and played golf with some of the staff. However, the aforementioned anonymous source claims the hotel was trying to “protect” Hammer.

While we may not know exactly what’s going on here until Armie Hammer actually comments, right now there are more signs that he’s working at this Cayman hotel to make ends meet.
