The incident, which occurred on April 21, had widespread repercussions on social media after columnist Leo Dias released security camera images that captured the moment MC Ryan kicked Giovanna during an argument.
The diffusion of the images generated an immediate reaction of rejection, both from fans and the general public, leading the singer to deactivate his social networks.
Admission to assault
Shortly after the video was released, MC Ryan SP admitted to the assault in a conversation with Leo Dias’ team. He acknowledged the “mistake” and asked that the video not be released, concerned about the impact on his personal life and career.
