At the police station, Sarah informs Martin that Julien was home at the time of the fire because he had a friend over at 7pm. However, Damien was categorical: the fire broke out between 19:15 and 19:20. Martin still found that there was something fishy between Julien and Victor.
Meanwhile, Charles goes to Little Spoon to check on Valentine and find out if the fire is being investigated. The young woman replies that she has moved, but reassures him that she did not report the bad harvest to the police. In fact, he thinks Brune set fire to his own stock to get insurance, and then directly accuses Charles of playing a game. The latter defends himself by simply worrying about his mother. Eventually, Valentine hangs up, much to Nathan’s delight.
At the end of the day, Bart finds Timothy on the couch looking at his father. In fact, he is suspected of resuming illegal activities, but has yet to find anything. This frees him up because he has a meeting with her in a few hours.
