On Tuesday, October 1, a more beautiful life, even more beautiful…
Aya gives Killian a second chance
Unlike last month, “Mistral” employees have already been paid their salaries. Killian tells Aya that he took care of it. He takes the opportunity to thank her for helping him overcome his administrative phobia. Now that he knows how to manage his documents better, he is even thinking of opening a new bar.
He asks Aya if she will join him in this crazy project, and the young woman says yes without hesitation. Killian replies: “So, say in five or ten years?”. Aya promises to always be by his side in the years to come.
Touched by Aya’s words, Killian leans in to kiss her, but she immediately bows her head. Does she really want to get back with her ex? Killian no longer knows how to interpret Aya’s signals.
A few minutes later, Aya finds Javad in Mistral. She asks him why he looks stressed, and he replies that it has something to do with Killian: “We kissed again, but after that we were still friends”.
After talking with her brother, Aya apologizes to Killian. He tells her that he understood that she would prefer them to remain friends, but Aya replies that it’s the complete opposite. Then he said to him: “I want you to come to my graduation ceremony.”
Killian is excited by his ex-girlfriend’s proposal. He checks his diary to mark the date and sees that he already has an appointment at Betty’s mental hospital. He says nothing to Aya and promises to attend the ceremony. How will he do it?
A mysterious lawyer arrives
Jennifer (Diane Dassinin) tells Thomas (Laurent Kerussore) that Luna has decided to go to the police. Moments later, Barbara (Lea Francois) arrives and informs her two friends that she has been called to the police station this afternoon. At the same time, Blanche and Jennifer receive the same call.
In turn, Babette asks Patrick to find a way to get Luna out. And for good reason, he’s convinced that his friend didn’t kill Cyrus and that he’s just protecting someone.
Patrick replies: “If he killed someone, he will be tried. I’m doing my job, okay?”. Babette has a hard time dealing with this situation as she considers Luna her sister.
At the same time, Jean-Paul informs Samuel that he has summoned Blanche, Barbara and Jennifer to the police station for questioning. Samuel asks him why, and Jean-Paul answers: “The more I think about Luna’s confession, the less I believe it.”
Suddenly, a woman arrives and introduces herself to them as Maitre Bataille, who specializes in criminal law. Surprised, the two police officers explain to him that Luna already has a court-appointed lawyer, but Maitre Bataille approaches the latter to release her.
Luna meets her lawyer. He is suspicious because no one has hired him. Master Bataille states: “With me, you’re sure to be vindicated as I stand up for issues dear to me, including violence against women.”.
Luna asks why she trusted him and the lawyer tells her it’s because she has no choice. Indeed, Luna faces eight to twenty years in prison. So they agree to work together.
Are the Mistraliens masked?
During her interrogation, Luna informs Samuel that on September 4 (the day of Janis Cyrus’ murder) she argued with Blanche about her plan to reintegrate with Marie Duroc in the kitchen.
He adds that Jennifer, Blanche and Barbara left for Marseilles without him. In turn, he claims that he went on foot to find a taxi until he came across the car of Iannis Cyrus. He promises to get into the car, and then the latter kidnaps him.
“He stopped in the passage, tried to hit me with a wrench, I managed to push him, he hit his head on something. I panicked when I saw that he was dead and decided to bury his body. Samuel is surprised that he managed to move the body himself.
Later, Jennifer, Blanche and Barbara meet at the Pavillon de Fleurs. They are relieved that they managed to answer the questions of the investigators. However, they are worried about Luna, because they heard that the reconstruction of the facts was to take place in the afternoon.
Luna actually ends up at the crime scene with the investigators and the judges. Jean-Paul asks him to repeat exactly what happened by saying that Samuel was Cyrus. Luna shows the police how she pushed Cyrus, but lacks strength.
Jean-Paul asks how he managed to move the body, and Luna drags Samuel to the ground. But he can’t move. The two police officers and the judge understand that Luna could not have buried the body alone, as she claimed.
The hunter that Luna, Blanche, Barbara and Jennifer met on the day of the crime suddenly appears. He said to Luna: “You’re on the treasure hunt again, aren’t your colleagues here?”
