Another important step for Flamengo towards building its own stadium. The Club of Rio de Janeiro, the City Hall of Rio de Janeiro, the Federal Attorney General’s Office and the Caixa Econômica Federal have reached an agreement to put an end to the legal dispute over the Gasometer land.

Flamengo’s legal vice president, Rodrigo Dunshee, spoke about the agreement in an interview with FlaTV, the club’s official YouTube channel.

“We participated together with the Municipality, the Union and the Caixa in a mediation to resolve the process of expropriation of the land and the auction.
