The Rio de Janeiro club will build a model similar to the one used for the construction of the Ninho do Urubu training center

During the delivery of the keys to the Gasologista ground, Rodolfo Landim, president of Flamengo, explained that the fans will participate in the construction of the stadium. According to him there will be a virtual crowdfunding so that the Rossoneri can make donations. Therefore, these will have their names on a panel inside the future house of Mais Querido.

“There will be a virtual brick, a real brick, that they can participate in and during construction we will have panels with the names of those who contribute. In the future, everyone who contributed will be able to access a panel inside the stadium itself, which it will have their names on it,” Landim explained.

Something similar to what happened in the construction of Ninho do Urubu

This format is not unprecedented in Flamengo’s history. After all, during the construction of Ninho do Urubu, the AC Milan training center, the club launched the brick campaign, in which fans donated R$250 to help with the construction of the place.
