Charlie wants to tell Nick that he loves her. Nick also has something important to say to Charlie. As summer vacation ends and the months pass, the friends realize that the school year will bring its own joys and challenges.

As they learn more about each other and their relationships, plan social events and parties, and begin to think about college choices, each must learn to lean on those they love when life doesn’t go as planned.
