On January 8, Plus belle la vie returned to TF1 after several months of absence. To mark the occasion, the writers wanted to please early fans with the return of Elodi Varle (Estelle), Emmanuel Giorgi (Francesco) and David Bayot (Javadi) for the duration of Intrigue.
Javad and Estelle shared a passionate kiss
Feeling that Estelle was slowly drifting away from him, Francesco actually poisoned himself and distilled many clues to blame Javad, the young woman’s ex. Unfortunately, the plan backfired.
In the end, Estelle and Javad managed to prove their innocence, Francesco was arrested and the young woman decided to move to Lyon. In their final scene together, Estelle and Javad confess their feelings for each other and share a kiss before she leaves.
And if viewers were hoping that this scene heralded a reunion between the two characters, they were in for a big surprise when the young man now has a terrible relationship with Ariane (Lola Marois).
The end of Javad and Estelle’s relationship?
After an absence of several months, David Bayot returns to the films of Plus belle la vie for an even more beautiful and surprising story. After years of hating each other, Javad and Ariane become a couple, much to the chagrin of Zoë and Aya, who both take a dim view of the rapprochement.
This new relationship also dashes the hopes of Plus belle la vie fans who thought Estelle and Javad were finally together. During the La Rochelle Arts Festival, AlloCiné asked series producer Clementine Planchon if it was really over between the two characters.
“I want to say that everything is possible in Plus belle la vie“, he answered. “I personally never knew Estelle and Javad as a couple. Not sure if this is the thread to do. They were together many times before. It’s not impossible at all, but it’s not our plan either.”
“If we have good news to tell, we will not deny it. But together with Javadi and Ariane, this idea seems quite effective to me. It’s not necessarily a love story at this point, so we’re not planning anything else yet.“This is how it is written…
