And while HPI Season 3 was hoping they’d finally become a couple, Morgan and Karadek were finally ready to start a romantic relationship, Red Tornado’s betrayal in the finale changed everything between them.

Karadek actually lost all confidence in himself, even before leaving DIPJ in the first episodes of Season 4. Obviously, Morgan’s pregnancy, and especially the identity of the baby’s father, could have been the deciding factor between them.

Is a love story possible?

During an interview with AlloCiné, HPI writing directors Alyssa Chegaray-Brunot and Julien Anskater talked about Morgan and Karadek becoming a couple one day.

And one thing is clear, they are not closing the door to this opportunity. “There is always hope“Alisa Chegarai-Bruno explained with a laugh. “The two are attracted to each other. Of course, everything between them will happen in Season 5.”

“It is not so much that we forbid communication with each other. What we don’t want is the aspect of the shot, the installation of the couple, the pavilion, the dog… our character would no longer be there, nor the series. That’s really what guides us.

We want to keep the rock side of the character. Even coexistence between these two seems difficult, but it does not prohibit the feeling of love.“

“We have always believed that what works best in a relationship and what people like is a little tension.Julien Anskater added. “So we can explore their relationship in different ways, and we don’t hold back from doing that. “

“But what we love about Karadek and Morgan’s relationship is when they bicker and bicker. There should not be a 100% peaceful relationship between them. I think we will get bored quickly.”

Mehdi Nebibu does not like the idea of ​​them becoming a couple

If the HPI screenwriters are open to a romantic relationship between Morgan and Karadek, Mehdi Nebibu will be much more reserved. During an interview during the Series Mania festival last March, before the broadcast of all the episodes of season 4, the actor confided to AlloCiné that he could not imagine the two characters as a couple.

“I think as a couple it won’t last long“, he told us before adding:They are very different. I think that first of all they have a romantic friendship which is very beautiful because it is not very common between women and men. It is a friendship that has no uncertainty.”

It remains to be seen what the writers have in store for Morgane and Karadek in Season 5 of HPI, which has already been ordered.
