Inter confirmed their favoritism and defeated Torino 3-2 on Saturday 5th in a match of the seventh round of the Italian Championship. The master of the evening in Italy was striker Thuram, scorer of all three goals. Zapata and Vlasic scored for the guests.

With this result, Inter jumps into second place, now with 14 points, two behind leaders Napoli. Torino is sixth, with 11. These also include Udinese (13), Juventus (12) and Milan (11).
