Joker: Delirium for two (or simply Joker 2) grossed $40 million (approximately R$218 million) at the box office in the first weekend after its release – one of the film’s biggest periods – in the United States. The figure is half of that collected from the first film, Jokerin the same period of 2019.
The initial box office projection for the first weekend of Joker 2 it was at least $50 million (R$273 million). So far, the new film’s performance has fallen short of expectations in the United States.
Outside of the United States, the film – which once again stars Todd Phillips as director and Scott Silver as screenwriter – performed quite well. For now, Joker 2 it grossed $121.1 million (R$660 million) at the box office. But behind it there is also the value collected by Joker in the same period ($139 million).

Joker 2 between critics and audiences
In criticism, Joker 2 they had very different analyzes – at least in Brazil.
