New York’s Special Victims Unit returns tonight: what’s in store for Season 25

A nice surprise that TF1 decided to make for the fans of the New York Special Unit. Last Monday, September 30, the channel aired the last two episodes of the 24th season of the detective series, hosted by Mariska Hargitay.

And if usually, viewers have to be patient to discover the rest of the adventures of our investigators, this time they won’t have to wait long. TF1 presents the first two new episodes of the 25th season of the New York special this Monday, October 7, at 11:00 p.m.

What to expect in 25 seasons

The starting point for these new episodes is the kidnapping of Maddie, the teenager Benson saw moments before in the passenger seat of the van. Feeling guilty for not realizing that the young girl was in danger, Benson dives headfirst into the investigation.

The SWAT investigation leads them to a hotel room where they find a woman in agony who confirms to them that she came across Maddy fighting her captor. Will they be able to find him before it’s too late? You’ll have to watch the first episode to find out.

Expected return

In episode 9 of season 24, Kelly Giddy, who played investigator Amanda Rollins since season 13, said goodbye to the NYPD. A departure that, however, was short-lived, as the actor will return in the first episode of the 25th season.

Amanda actually joins her former teammates for the new baby’s christening. However, this is not the only appearance the actor will make during this burst of episodes, as he will also reprise his role in Season 25, Episode 11.

Catch Season 25 of New York Special this Monday, October 7 from 11pm on TF1.
