Warning, this article contains a lot of spoilers for tomorrow’s upcoming episodes. If you don’t want to know anything, don’t read the following!
The Juilliard family is in more turmoil than ever in Tomorrow Belongs Us.
A few days ago, the wine estate of Victor (Farouq Bermuga) and Filipina (Patricia Thibault) fell victim to a fire. An investigation that caused a lot of trouble for Commander Constant’s teams.
If suspicion quickly falls on Victor, the spotlight has recently shifted to Charles (Roberto Calvetti) and Filipina, who both have good reason to blame Timothy’s father.
After days of wondering who could be burning the crops and sabotaging the brakes in the Philippines, viewers discovered that it was the latter who orchestrated the whole thing in the first place.
As the noose tightened dangerously around Juilliard, Charles understood his mother’s responsibility in all of this. But against all odds, when the police come to their home to question the Philippines in tonight’s episode airing on TF1, Charles incriminates himself instead…but why?
“It was impossible to imagine you here”
In the episode that airs on Wednesday, October 9 and is now available on the TF1+ platform, the Philippines gets to meet Charles.
After hearing from him, Filipina apologizes to him and tries to understand why he blamed himself instead of her.
“I was very afraid that you would be caught. It was impossible to imagine you here. I couldn’t stand it“, he explains.
Moved, Filipina realizes that this is crazy, especially since the police have never been able to track her down. Charles then explains that the investigators were suspicious.
“And then I was caught for stealing a kitten. What was the point of both falling? Can you imagine Violet and Damien? especially for him. Mom, he needs you more than you.” He says before continuing in a low voice.“I deserve to be here. It may not sound like it, but I haven’t forgotten these two people who are no longer here because of me.“.
Then Filipina takes over and declares that we better not talk about this story anymore. Only Charles feels guilty enough to absolve her of being here. With tears in his eyes, he explains that it is time to face responsibility. When Charles pleads with her to keep their family together, her mother replies:I’m not going to leave you. I will fix it. I’ll find you the best lawyer in town and take you out“.
Will the Philippines manage to get Charles out of prison without being caught by the police? The answer will soon be in Tomorrow!
