Guillermo del ToroOscar-winning filmmaker in 2018, turns 60 this Wednesday, October 9th. The Mexican is famous for his unique visual style and for mixing elements of fantasy, horror and realism.

Also a screenwriter and producer, he is celebrated for his ability to create imaginative worlds and captivating characters, often exploring themes such as lost innocence, the struggle between good and evil, and human nature.

At the moment, del Toro is directing a new version of Frankensteinbased on the iconic work by Mary Shelleywith Andrew Garfield (All the Time We Have), Mia Goth (MaXXXine) and Oscar Isaac (Moon Knight) in the cast.
