The influencer announced the end of the relationship through a black and white post on social media this Wednesday morning (9)
One of the most loved couples by the Rossoneri people, Éverton Cebolinha and Isa Ranieri have separated after eight years of marriage. The influencer confirmed the end of her marriage with the Flamengo striker through a post on her Instagram, this Wednesday morning (9). The former couple has three children from their relationship: Sofia, Pedro and Luca.
Isa Ranieri did not specify the reason for the decision, but clarified that “crises are common in couples” and that “love alone is not enough”. In this sense, the two needed to recognize their limits as a couple to preserve the love and respect between them. It is known, however, that the ex-spouses no longer follow each other on social media.
Everton Cebolinha has been away from his activities since the injury sustained in the 1-1 draw against Palmeiras on 11 August. The Flamengo striker had to undergo surgery to correct the rupture of the Achilles tendon in his left ankle and will only return to the field in 2025.
End of the marriage
The news, as mentioned, came via a publication on Isa’s Instagram profile. The influencer made a point of announcing the end of the relationship out of respect for his followers and before any media speculation about the end.
“In 8 years of history, we have deepened and deepened everything we have built. We dated, we got married, we had our children and we have been happy for a long time, in God. In all this time, I have been the best I could I prayed, I gave in, I gave my life, my time and, above all, all my emotional health for our family” and continued:
“No couple is perfect, and surprisingly: everyone goes through crises, this is a fact. However, just as there is no lack of love, love alone is not enough. Knowing your limits and choosing peace with maturity is fundamental for every relationship, be it family, love or even friendship,” he began.
Still in her rant, Isa said she would have chosen not to report the breakup if she had the choice, but “the media world that thrives on assumptions” did not make her wish possible. Respect and consideration for those close to us also played a role in the decision to make the announcement publicly.
“I swear I didn’t want to have to report it. I just wanted to move on with my life and that’s it. Unfortunately this is not possible because of the media world that surrounds us and lives on assumptions and ideas that I don’t even know where they come from. And obviously , also in consideration of all the people who surround us, follow us and cheer on the bond we have built”, and continues:
“Nothing in this life happens by accident, but I know that God has absolutely lost control of nothing. So I believe that He continues and has always been here, regardless of the circumstances. And with the peace that surpasses all understanding, we have decided to follow different paths and to end. Please, I ask for respect for both of us, for our family and especially for our children, who will forever be our biggest, best and most precious bond”, he concluded.

Flamengo’s low season
Cebolinha hasn’t played for Rubro-Negro since August 11, when he left the field in the 11th minute of the draw with Palmeiras, at the Maracanã, in the Brasileirão. The striker was already suffering from physical problems even before the injury to the Achilles tendon in his left ankle and is now undergoing recovery at the club’s medical department.
At his peak at Flamengo, and probably since leaving Grêmio, Everton Cebolinha has an estimated recovery period of between four and six months. The player underwent surgery last August 14th and will only return to work next season.
