The contract with Dafabet will be analyzed by the club’s legal department; social project will print a space on the t-shirt
Guarani is not having a good season in 2024; after all, they are last in Serie B and, as if that wasn’t enough, there was more bad news this week. Outside the list of betting sites regulated to operate in Brazil, Dafabet has announced it is closing operations in the country and will leave the club without sponsorship.
Therefore the company has been at the Campinas club since July and is not included in the list of the Prizes and Betting Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance. The site will therefore be closed by the federal government starting from Friday the 11th.
“We regret to inform you that Dafabet will cease operations in Brazil as of 10/10/2024. We would like to take this opportunity to thank each player for their support and loyalty during their time with us. It has been a pleasure having them here our community and we are deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in us”, the company published in a statement published on the official website and social media.
“We kindly ask you to withdraw any remaining balance in your accounts as soon as possible. Please ensure all withdrawal requests are submitted by 10/15/2024,” the company added.
In fact, Guarani and the betting site had a contract until 2025, in addition to having the brand displayed at the Brinco de Ouro stadium, on the billboards of official matches, in the changing rooms, as well as in the background of press conferences and in the mixed zone.

Guarani Futebol Clube informs that, due to regulatory issues with the federal government, Dafabet, our current main sponsor, will not be able to print its branding on the club’s shirt for a certain period (until its activities are regulated by the official bodies of Brazil).
In this way, Dafabet has decided to give up its space on the front of the kit to StarsTEA, a recent project by Guarani FC which aims to promote the social inclusion of people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The change will take place after Wednesday’s match (9), against Botafogo-SP.
This initiative demonstrates the club’s commitment to supporting relevant social causes and promoting awareness of inclusion. StarsTEA represents an important action in favor of the community and reflects the values ​​that Guarani defends.
