The Girl Next Door, a film by Anna Kendrick, premieres in Brazilian cinemas

The Girl of the Timea film based on a bizarre true story, which marks the actress’s debut Anna Kendrick (Dusk, Nonstop Love) directed, arrives in Brazilian cinemas starting this Thursday, October 10th, distributed by Diamond Films Brasil.

The novelty tells the story of Sheryl Bradshaw (Anna Kendrick), a single woman searching for a suitor on the hit 1970s TV show, “The Dating Game.” She ends up choosing the charming one Rodney Alcala (Daniel Zovatto, The Pope’s Exorcist)without knowing that, behind the gentle facade, he was hiding a terrible secret: he is a serial killer in the midst of yet another wave of murders.

In addition to Anna Kendrick and Daniel Zovatto, The Girl of the Time still has Tony Hale (The Mysterious Benedict Society), Nicolette Robinson (One Night in Miami…), Pete Holmes (Crashing), Autumn Best (4400), Kathryn Gallagher (You) and, among others, Kelley Jake (The Perfect Choice).
