Not to reprise the role of Iron Man, but to play Doctor Doom (or Doom), the sworn enemy of the Fantastic Four and one of the most famous antagonists of the House of Ideas.

However, you’ll have to wait until April 29, 2026 and May 5, 2027 to find him in the MCU, thanks to Avengers: Endgame and Secret Wars. But the announcement of his comeback didn’t just make people happy.
